Draft Amendment Law Explains Vehicles That Can Be Driven with A1, B1 Licenses
What types of vehicles can be driven with a Class A1 license? Article 97 of the recent draft Road Traffic Law proposes dividing driver’s licenses into 17 classes, compared to the current 13 classes. The popular motorbike license – Class A1, has seen significant changes in the draft law. Specifically, the driver’s license for motorbikes is divided into 3 classes: – Class A0: Granted to drivers of motorcycles (including electric scooters) with a cylinder capacity of less than 50 cm3 or an electric motor capacity not exceeding 04 kW. – Class A1: Granted to drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity from 50 cm3 to 125 cm3 or an electric motor capacity of over 04 kW to 11 kW, and vehicles specified for A0 class driving licenses. – Class A: Granted to drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of over 125 cm3 or an electric motor capacity of over 11 kW, and vehicles prescribed for class A0 and A1 driving licenses.
